Jon Musgrave is a New York City based bodyworker, conductor, and tuba player. Raised in the mountains west of Golden, Colorado, Jon spent his early years doing gymnastics before beginning in music in late elementary school. He began conducting while in high school, and went on to earn degrees in tuba performance from the University of Colorado at Boulder (Bachelor's with highest honors) and conducting from Ithaca College (masters). His interest in bodywork began at CU while taking lessons in the Alexander Technique with James Brody, and continued through further study with Jerry Schweibert at the Conductor's Retreat at Medomak. He earned a certificate in Therapeutic Massage and Hydrotherapy from the Finger Lakes School of Massage in Ithaca, New York, and has practiced massage privately in Ithaca and New York City.
